Research Interests

In my research I develop and apply computational models of human language, focusing on automatic analysis of language samples. These technologies are particularly useful in clinical settings, where they can be used to screen, diagnosis, and phenotype disorders that affect speech and language. My current projects use natural language processing algorithms to characterize language use in children with autism spectrum disorders, and to provide communication support to individuals with primary progressive aphasia.
