Welcome to the Yantasee Lab

Our research program employs functionalized nanomaterials in medicine. We are a part of the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Medicine. Our expertise is in the development of animal models of cancer, kidney disease, and metals-related diseases, as well as the development of engineered nanomaterials to diagnose, prevent, or treat such diseases.

In addition to her position as Associate Professor at OHSU, Dr. Yantasee is also a Research Member of the Knight Cancer Institute and a Nanomedicine Signature Researcher at Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI).
