NIH Training Grants

The Department of Behavioral Neuroscience currently administers three NIH-funded research training grants that provide stipend support for postdoctoral fellows and graduate students admitted to several different Ph.D. programs in the School of Medicine at the Oregon Health & Science University. These training programs focus specifically on the neurobiology of alcoholism, drug addiction and aging.

The three NIH-institutes supporting our training grants are The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and The National Institute on Aging (NIA).
