Help Our Students Travel
Dear OHSU School of Medicine Alumnus/Alumna:
If you graduated from OHSU’s MD Program, you probably still remember interviewing around the country to identify your next step - your residency program.
My 4th year classmates and I are just beginning this process. After four years of medical school, finding the right residency program is an exciting - if slightly daunting - task for us, and we’d like to ask for your assistance as we prepare to travel for interviews.
The School of Medicine Alumni Association’s Help Our Students Travel - or HOST - program links alumni/ae across the country with members of the Class of 2012 MD Program. It is an invaluable resource for us.
In the past, School of Medicine alums have offered to show us around institutions where they now work. They’ve provided us with insights and navigation tips for the cities in which they now live. They have even kindly hosted us overnight in their homes. (This really helps our travel budget!)
If you are able to help us in these or any other ways in the next couple of months, we’d love to hear from you. Please use the links below to let us know where you are and how you can help, and we’ll get in touch.
Thank you: my classmates and I look forward to hearing from you and greatly appreciate any help you can give us.
