Course Schedule

The course will be held August 17-20, 2010. Review the 2009 schedule. Lecture topics, speakers and lecture times/dates will be similar in 2010.

Registration

Online registration for the 14th Annual Certification & Recertification Review course will be available on January 15, 2010. Please check back then.

Transportation

Portland, Oregon can be reached via plane, train or automobile, and boasts an easy-to-use, economical public transit system. The Oregon Medical Association, the course venue, is situated in southwest Portland and offers free parking for program attendees. It is easily reached by public transit or taxi from the Portland International Airport or Portland Union Station - Passenger Train Service.

From Portland International Airport (7000 NE Airport Way): If you are traveling by plane, you can reach the Oregon Medical Association and surrounding area by taxi which will cost approximately $45-50. You can also reach it by TriMet light rail/bus for $2.30 one-way with an estimated travel time of 106 minutes. By Train: If you are traveling by train, you will arrive at Portland Union Station (800 NW 6th Ave) with two options to continue. You can take a taxi for an approximate cost of $20-25 to the Oregon Medical Association and surrounding area, or you can take a TriMet bus for $2.30 one-way with an estimated travel time of 81 minutes. Refund Policy

We will accept cancellations until August 3, 2010. All cancellation requests must be in writing in order to process your refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after August 3, 2010.

Cancellations received by August 3, 2010, will receive a refund, subject to a 25% processing fee, and will take 2 to 3 weeks to process depending upon original method of payment. Should you wish to substitute a colleague, simply fax or e-mail notification of his or her name and contact information by August 10th so that we may prepare registration materials. 

 

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

This program will request a maximum of 26.5 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit by the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Physician assistants should claim only those hours actually spent participating in the CME activity.

This program is planned in accordance with AAPA’s CME Standards for Live Programs and for Commercial Support of Live Programs.
