Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
Applicants must have taken the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) within the past 5 years; there is no minimum score required. If you last took the GRE over five years ago, you will need to retake the exam. The Educational Testing Service only keeps scores for five years.
GRE scores cannot be sent to CASPA; scores must be forwarded to Oregon Health & Science University Physician Assistant Program:
Use GRE Institution Code 4780 ; Department Code 0699.
For June 2010 admission, the official score report must be received in the PA program office by November 15, 2009.
MCAT, GMAT, and MAT tests cannot substitute for the GRE requirement.
Is the GRE still required if I already have a master's degree?
Yes. All applicants to the OHSU PA program must submit official test scores for the GRE regardless of their previous academic work .
