Chip Taylor, MD, MPH
Associate Professor, Medical Director
Dr. Chip Taylor was appointed medical director of the OHSU PA Program in August 2011.
Dr. Taylor is an alumnus of the Oregon Health & Science University MD program. He completed his residency at Naval Hospital in Jacksonville in 1991 and received his Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000. After serving 22-years in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Taylor returned to OHSU in 2008 as an associate professor in Family Medicine.
In addition to his role as medical director of the OHSU PA Program, Dr. Taylor is the medical director for the Oregon Health Information Technology Extension Center (O-HITEC) and maintains an inpatient and outpatient clinical practice at OHSU Family Medicine at Gabriel Park where he is a clinical educator to OHSU Family Medicine residents and OHSU medical students.
