Ben Schneider, MD
Dr. Ben Schneider was appointed medical director of the OHSU PA Program in March 2013.
Dr. Schneider is an alumnus of the Rush University MD program. He completed his family medicine residency training at OHSU following which he served as chief resident and clinical leadership fellow at OHSU.
In addition to his role as medical director of the OHSU PA Program, Dr. Schneider maintains a clinical practice at the Center for Health and Healing Family Medicine Clinic. He is also a part of the core faculty of the family medicine residency where he supervises the resident didactic curriculum and serves as the chair of the didactics committee. He has also served as the chair of the family medicine privileges advisory committee. Dr. Schneider’s scholarly interests lie in medical education, curriculum development, transitions of patient care and chronic disease management strategies including group visits.
