Katie's responsibilities with the OHSU PA program include recruitment and development of clinical rotation sites for students in Central Oregon.
Eric Schuman, MPAS, PA-C

Eric Schuman joined the faculty in July 2005.
He has been a practicing PA for over 30 years and earned his MPAS from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. Since 1990 he has worked for Kaiser Permanente where his clinical responsibilities include adult and pediatric neurology.
A frequent lecturer on headache at national conferences, he also serves as a medical consultant to the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners and volunteers at the Essential Health Clinic, a free clinic serving a largely Hispanic population. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Marion-Polk County Medical Society and the Conference Education Program Committee of the AAPA.
Michelle Hurty, PA-C

Michelle Hurty joined the faculty in 2008.
She graduated with honors from the University of Utah PA program in 1992. Michelle spent the next 15 years working in internal medicine and endocrinology prior to taking time off to be with her family.
She has been active with the Idaho Association of Physician Assistants as treasurer and regional representative.
