Pat Kenney-Moore, MHS, PA-C

Pat Kenney-Moore joined the OHSU PA Program in April 1995 prior to the matriculation of the first class and was instrumental in the development and implementation of the academic curriculum. Her role in the program is as associate director and academic coordinator.

She is a graduate of the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at the University of Southern California. She completed a master’s degree in postsecondary, adult and continuing education from Portland State University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational leadership and adult learning.

Pat’s clinical background includes family medicine and general internal medicine and she continues to maintain a part time clinical practice.

At OHSU, Pat has a joint appointment as an associate professor in the Division of Physician Assistant Education and assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine.

In addition to her program responsibilities, she is a member of the Advisory Council for the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants and has previously served as president of the organization. She is on the Board of Trustees for the Oregon Medical Association and participates nationally with the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the National Commision on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA).

She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and has received several honors including Oregon PA of the Year in 2005, OHSU School of Medicine Faculty Excellence in Education Award for 2004-2005, Excellence in Academic Teaching for 2007, 2008 and 2009, and an OHSU Student Council Faculty Award in 2012.
