Claire Hull, MHS, PA-C
Assistant Professor, Clinical Coordinator
Claire Hull joined the faculty in April 2006. She graduated from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program in 1995 with a Master in Health Sciences degree. Clinically, Claire has worked in family medicine, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and currently works part time in an urgent care clinic.
Claire has enjoyed working full time in PA education since 2000. Prior to joining the OHSU faculty she was the academic coordinator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham PA Program and the Assistant Director for the Didactic Curriculum at Yale University PA program. She has received several honors for her commitment to PA education. As the Clinical Coordinator for the OHSU PA Program Claire oversees the curriculum and assessments of the clinical phase of the program. Claire also has responsibilities in the didactic year, including serving as the course director for the Clinical Practicum courses. She also teaches first-year students in several courses, including Physical Diagnosis, Principles of Professional Practice, and Clinical Medicine Tutorials.
In addition to her responsibilities at OHSU, Claire has worked with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in test development. She is actively involved in the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) serving on several committees and as a faculty presenter at conferences.
