Campus Experience

The Oregon Health & Science University Portland campus comprises the OHSU Hospitals and Clinics; Doernbecher Children's Hospital; dozens of primary and specialty clinics; the schools of Medicine, Nursing and Dentistry; and various research and graduate programs. It is located in the southwest hills of Portland, approximately five minutes from downtown. The city and surrounding communities are noted for their convenience, livability, cleanliness and affordability. Between its hospitals, clinics and schools, OHSU employs more than 9000 people, making it the largest employer in Portland.

Student Health at OHSU includes outpatient care, routine X-ray and laboratory work, and any necessary referrals to specialty clinics. Additionally, OHSU offers a complete on-campus recreational and fitness center.
