Student Affairs: Meet the Directors

Nicole Deiorio, M.D.

Dr. Deiorio is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She is engaged in teaching students at many levels, from Principles of Clinical Medicine to the third and fourth year EM clerkships. As Director for Medical Student Education in the School of Medicine, she works with the Student Affairs team to assist students in understanding their career goals, finding mentors, and applying to residencies.
 

Dawn Dillman, M.D.

Dr. Dillman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine and is the Director of Student Affairs in the School of Medicine. In this mentoring role, she helps students with academic troubles, experiencing work-life issues, or need academic advice.
 

Brett White, M.D.

Dr. White is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and is Director of Student Development in the School of Medicine.  In this role he provides leadership in medical student orientation, medical student wellness, and in strolling through the match and the continuity curriculum.  Dr. White also teaches medical students in PCM and on clerkships, serves as a PCM preceptor, and regularly meets with medical students for mentoring, advising and individualized development.
