OHSU Resources
Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI)
One of the first awardees of an NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), OCTRI is charged with changing biomedical research to create a vibrant academic home for clinical/translational investigation.
Infrastructure programs serve investigators and their research activities by providing access to key research tools, methodologies, and expertise and enhance the speed, quality, and quantity of clinical and translational research.
Research Funding & Development Services
Provides central resources to investigators in early stages of career development to find funding, improve grant-writing skills, support professional development and strategically plan for future research projects. You will find information on funding opportunities and grant writing help, including workshops and successful grant examples at this site.
OHSU Medical Research Foundation (MRF)
Supports promising biomedical exploration and the development of research careers in clinical investigations through MRF Seed Grants and Early Clinical Investigator Support Grants.
OHSU medical and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty are eligible for awards worth up to $2,000.

LRPs are competitive applications. If accepted, NIH will repay some of your qualified educational debt in exchange for a two or three-year commitment to research.
