Summary of Current Research

Dr. Cameron's research focuses on how to encourage biomedical researchers to play a more active role in K-12 education. After decades as a cellular neurophysiologist, he has become one of the principal architects of the nation's largest Brain Awareness Week celebration and an advocate for translation of scientific discovery for the public. He is active in the education cores of the Methamphetamine Abuse Research Center and the Portland Alcohol Research Center. He is also Executive Director of the OHSU Body Donation Program and is involved in several problems dealing with ethics in research.
