2010 Award Nominations now being accepted

The SOM Graduate Studies office is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Student & Faculty awards.

The deadlines for all awards is March 31, 2010

Outstanding Master's Thesis Award: To be awarded for an outstanding Master's thesis by a School of Medicine graduate student who will graduate this year (June 2010). The individual receiving this award will be recognized at the School of Medicine Commencement Ceremony on June 1, 2010. 

John A. Resko Ph.D. Dissertation Award: To be awarded for an outstanding Ph.D. dissertation by a School of Medicine graduate student who will graduate this year (June 2010). The individual receiving this award will be recognized at the School of Medicine Commencement Ceremony on June 1, 2010.

Journal Article of the Year Award: This award is given to recognize an outstanding journal article authored or co-authored by an OHSU School of Medicine graduate student and published in the 2009 calendar year (journal publication date between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009). The award will be presented at a ceremony during the Student Research Forum May 13-14, 2010.

Resko Faculty Research and Mentoring Achievement Award: The award recognizes a faculty member for outstanding research and student mentoring. Nominees for this award should be members of the School of Medicine Graduate Faculty. The individual receiving this award will be recognized at the School of Medicine Commencement Ceremony on June 1, 2010.
