Student Choice Rotation Options

Near the end of the 10-month Dietetic Internship Program, students who are in favorable academic standing have the opportunity to select a supervised practice experience for an advanced emphasis rotation.  The emphasis rotation provides 2-3 weeks of experiential learning in a nutrition care setting that is of personal interest to the student. 

Students may choose to revisit a rotation they especially enjoyed or gain additional experience in a rotation that was particularly challenging.  

The Internship Placement Coordinator works with interns each year to facilitate the student choice
rotations.
