Interns Volunteer at Oregon Food Bank at End of Winter Term

GPHN's Georgia Rounder, Dietetic Intern, and Jeri Finn, Instructor, coordinated a volunteer shift at the Oregon Food Bank (OFB) near the end of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) week. This was a great way for them to unwind at the end of the term and our intensive MNT week. Rounder, recent intern at OFB, and others (interns from left to right: Sarah Hudson, Nicole Moore, Miranda Meyer, Megan Beck, Georgia Rounder, Jennifer Hamilton; and Jeri Finn and her son, Asher) repacked dry food items into family-sized packages. These packages will be distributed to OFB clients. We are so grateful to have such thoughtful, kind, intelligent, and hardworking interns in our program. We hope they continue to be involved in the community in meaningful ways.
