Wimpfheimer-Guggenheim Essay

Diane Stadler, PhD, RD, LD, and Joanna Cummings, MS, RD, LD, were awarded the Wimpfheimer-Guggenheim Fund for International Exchange in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Management for their 2017 winning essay. Their essay is entitled "The Children of Sticky Rice: Building Clinical Dietetics Capacity to Address Malnutrition in the Lao People's Democratic Republic," and captures some of the work that is being done in the Lao-American Nutrition Institute (LANI).

Dr. Stadler states, "We're excited about receiving this award and that the Lao-American Nutrition Institute is being recognized for its early success and we look forward to sharing our story as it develops."
