Kyle Robinson, MS2, named chair-elect of ASA MSC
Oregon native, Kyle Robinson, MS2, has recently been appointed chair-elect of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Medical Student Component (MSC). After earning a B.S. in Bioengineering from Oregon State University, Kyle came to OHSU and has found himself increasingly drawn towards the people, coursework and clinical implications of anesthesiology.
As chair-elect of the ASA MSC, Kyle will work as liaison to the society and focus on raising awareness and helping attract high-quality medical students to careers in anesthesiology. Kyle’s duties will include providing framework and direction to delegates from medical schools around the country.
“I am fortunate to come from a medical school with a strong anesthesiology program here at OHSU, which provides mentorship, clinical exposure and research opportunities throughout our pre-clinical training. I am excited to use my experiences here at home to help students locally and nationally explore this dynamic, multi-faceted specialty,” Kyle said.
