Glazier appointed president of Oregon Society of Healthcare Executives

Don Glazier, MPH, FACHE, department administrator, Department of Dermatology, has been appointed president of the Oregon Society of Healthcare Executives. His two-year term began in January 2014. The Oregon Society of Healthcare Executives (OSHE) is an independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society of more than 30,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations.
Mr. Glazier is also currently serving a two-year term as chair of the Dermatology Academic Administrator's Group (DAAG), part of the Association of Professors of Dermatology. The DAAG aims to provide networking and educational opportunities that will promote professional growth of academic administrators and coordinators and ultimately facilitate leadership and collaboration between dermatology departments/divisions in the changing world of academic medicine.
