From 4 – 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, the Portland Art Museum’s “Body Beautiful” exhibit will be open exclusively to anyone with an OHSU ID. One guest is also allowed, and kids under 17 are always free.
The free nights are one of the ways OHSU is saying “thank you” to the people who have helped make possible 125 years of service to Oregon’s communities. Many other events over the next several months will commemorate OHSU’s history and set the stage for imagining the future.
OHSU and the OHSU Foundation are sponsors of the “Body Beautiful” exhibit, which focuses on the art of Ancient Greece and its portrayal of the human form. The exhibit was conceived by the British Museum and ran during the 2012 London Summer Olympics. The showing in Portland will be the only showing in the United States.
No RSVPs needed: Just show up at the Portland Art Museum on one of the appointed nights, flash your ID and enjoy the exhibit.
