Department of Pediatrics Summer Internship Program receives fellowship grant

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation has awarded a St. Baldrick’s Summer Fellowship Grant to the Department of Pediatrics Summer Internship Program. OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the OHSU Knight Cancer institute will join a group of six elite hospitals in the nation receiving this award.
The $5,000 fellowship grant is intended to support Medical Students working on pediatric oncology research the summer between the first and second year of medical school. This grant allows for a summer fellow stipend as well as related expenses.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
