Some Real Answers to Solving Your Orthodontic Problem Cases

Saturday, January 23, 2010 with Robert C. Wilson, DDS

Program fees underwritten by Rocky Mountain Orthodontics

Morning Lecture:   It seems that today, lecturers are presenting new: more complicated more expensive, more mechanically challenging, appliances and brackets. Often showing some excellent results, but also claiming unrealistic expectations and results. At the same time, others suggest that everything new is wrong and these new appliances are of no real clinical value or only produce unstable results. Let's have an honest discussion of a tried and true orthodontic system and concepts.

Dr.  Wilson will discuss and demonstrate the use of the Wilson 3D Modular - Fixed / Removable System. The use of the 3D Modules can be incorporated into any other orthodontic system or technique.  Early or 1st Phase orthodontic treatment can be simplified with the use of these efficient modular appliances. Full treatment can be simplified and treatment time reduced. Topics such as: saving needed leeway space, anchorage preservation, rapid / easy distalization of upper molars, easy expansion of the upper arch (early or late) will all be discussed. The simple steps for fabrication and adjusting for these appliances will be explained

Long-term results will be shown, to demonstrate stability and proven benefits this orthodontic therapy. All will be presented in such a way, that everyone can return to their practice with some real usable answers to solving problem cases.

Afternoon Session:  A hands-on workshop with models and wires to fabricate some of the Wilson Appliances.  The simple step directions will be followed.
