PARKING ON CAMPUS
SATURDAY, SUNDAY & EVENING - When attending a course in the evening, after 5:00, or on the weekend, Saturday, Sunday or a holiday, PARKING IS FREE
Lot location - you may park in either parking structure located next to the Dental School - the Campus Garage or the Casey Eye Institute parking structure. Some areas are restricted. Please read signs carefully.
WEEK DAY - When attending a course held on a weekday (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) a permit is required. Allow extra time before the course for parking.
Parking Pass Pick-up Location - Pick up your parking pass at the parking booth located at the "bottom of the hill", at the intersection of Terwilliger Blvd & Sam Jackson Park Rd. There are three booths in the lot across the street from the gas station. If you have pre-registered for the course, your parking is validated & the parking attendant will have your name on a list. Tell them you are here for a continuing dental education course. If you did not pre-register you will need to pay for your parking.
Parking Lot Location - Park in the Kohler Pavilion Parking Garage: Turn right when leaving the parking booth. DO NOT turn left and go up Terwilliger Blvd. Continue up the hill on S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. Turn left onto S.W. Campus Drive, which is the first left turn at the top of the hill (across from Shiners' Hospital for Children.) Immediately turn right into the entrance to Kohler Pavilion. The entrance to the garage is on the right.
Park on Levels P3 or P4 – NOT P1 or P2 – these are for patients only. Take the elevator to the lobby, which puts you on the street level, about 200 yards from the 6th floor entrance of the dental school. As you enter the dental school, look for the yellow course location signs. Proceed to the correct floor/room. Continuing Dental Education is located in the basement. To get to CE, take the elevator to the ground floor, proceed to the center stairwell and THEN go down one more level. Enter through the fire door.
TRIMET BUS TRANSPORTATION – LINE #8 Trimet bus line #8 will drop you off at the front door of the Dental School. Line 8 runs weekdays approximately every 10-15 minutes from downtown. On Saturdays, the bus runs every ½ hour.
BICYCLE TRANSPORTATION - OHSU provides free bicycle parking, inluding a free bicycle valet for employees, students, patients and visitors in the plaza outside the Center for Health and Healing at the base of the Portland Aerial Tram. There is also bicycle parking at many locations on the Marquam Hill campus.
