Recognizing and Dealing with Abuse, Inappropriate Behavior and Stressed Patients - A powerful experience that will benefit all aspects of your life

Dental professionals are in a unique position to assess injuries that are the result of abuse and take action to support, protect, and possibly save the lives of patients. This seminar provides information and skills that will increase your ability to talk confidently with patients about possible signs of abuse. You also learn to set boundaries and de-escalate inappropriate or emotional behavior.

Through interactive training in practical, real-life scenarios you develop assertive body language along with verbal and physical defense techniques. These skills are simple to learn and highly effective.
In this dynamic, inspirational self-defense seminar you will learn to assess and respond quickly to challenging situations in the workplace. You will:
• Develop skills to work with patients who are fearful or agitated
• Learn to set boundaries and respond to inappropriate behavior
• Gain valuable information about how to recognize and respond to signs of abuse in children and adults

FYI:  This seminar involves interactive physical training. Wear clothes that are easy to move in.

One With Heart Tulen Center has provided positive, empowering self-defense seminars tailored specifically to the workplace for over 25 years.
