ACLS - Education for Life
Saturday & Sunday, February 27-28, 2010 provided by Education for Life
The ACLS Provider Course is designed to teach providers the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult VF/VT arrest. Students are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: respiratory emergencies, 4 types of cardiac arrest (simple VT/VF, PEA and asystole), 4 types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycarda, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes), and strokes.Core Elements:
• Recognition and therapy of the major ACLS emergency conditions, including heart attack, stroke, airway management and electrical therapy.
• Simulated team resuscitation.
Audience: General Dentists and Dental Specialists
• HCP CPR is part of our curriculum.
Participants must come to class prepared.
Required Text Book: You must have the AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Professional Provider Manual ($40 value).
Certification card issued upon successful completion.
