ACLS Recertification

You must provide a current, not expired, ACLS card

The ACLS Renewal is a refresher of current knowledge and verification of skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult VF/VT arrest. Students are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: respiratory emergencies, 4 types of cardiac arrest (simple VT/VF, PEA and asystole), 4 types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycarda, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes), and strokes.
Core Elements:

 • Recognition and therapy of the major ACLS emergency conditions, including heart attack, stroke, airway management and electrical therapy.

 • Simulated team resuscitation.

 

Audience:  ACLS Certified health care providers

• Designed for healthcare providers with the appropriate medical background who have a duty to respond to medical emergencies. This includes: Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses as well as some Respiratory Therapists and Pharmacy Technicians.

 • HCP CPR is part of our curriculum.

Participants must come to class prepared.

Required Text Book:  You must have the AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Professional Provide Manual ($40 value).  

Certification card issued upon successful completion.
