Description:
The ACLS Provider Course is designed to teach providers the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult VF/VT arrest. Students are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: respiratory emergencies, four types of cardiac arrest (simple VT/VF, PEA and asystole), four types of prearrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycarda, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes), and strokes.
Core Elements:
• Recognition and therapy of the major ACLS emergency conditions, including heart attack, stroke, airway management and electrical therapy.
• Simulated team resuscitation.
Audience:
•This particular course is designed for dentists only with the appropriate medical background who have a duty to respond to medical emergencies.
• HCP CPR is part of our curriculum. Participants must come to class prepared.
Course Length:
• Full course - 12 hours (two-day format) • Renewal course - 8.0 hours
Certification card issued upon successful completion.
Required Text Book: AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Professional Provide Manual - included in your tuition.

Education for Life’s Late Registration/Refund Policy: All registrations must reach Education for Life 10 days prior to class date. Registrations received after that date will be charged a $50 late fee payable by Visa, Master Card, or Money Order. Cancellations received 10 days prior to class will receive a refund less a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds after the 10-day cut off. NO EXCEPTIONS.
