Just 225 days remain until the School moves into Skourtes Tower, in the Collaborative Life Sciences Building (CLSB) by the banks of the Willamette River. Work continues towards a goal of substantial completion in February 2014, with occupancy scheduled from July 1, 2014.

Check out the CLSB construction site live cam to see the most up-to-date pictures of the building. Included in the construction are over 593 miles of wire, over 26 miles of plumbing system piping and more than 6,000 light fixtures. Data will stream throughout the building through 398 miles of cable, and water-conserving fixtures and fittings allow more than 1.3 million gallons of water to be conserved annually over typical usage for a building of this size.

“We have $12 million of our original $43 million left to raise, and at this stage every gift is critical to our success,” said Patrick J. Regan, Director of Development, OHSU Foundation. “Our alumni continue to pledge their support not only for the building itself but for its role in shaping the future of dental education in Oregon.”
