Dr. Steven Gold is currently an assistant professor at the Oregon Health and Science University, School of Dentistry where he teaches in the department of restorative dentistry and serves as a group practice leader. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and maintained a private practice in Santa Monica, California for over 16 years before re-locating to Portland, OR and joining OHSU. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Gold maintains a practice within the OHSU Faculty Dental Practice, conducts research in the areas of CAD/CAM dentistry and all-ceramic restorations, and is active in numerous professional organizations including the ADA, Oregon Dental Association, and American College of Dentists. Additionally, Dr. Gold has been recognized for professional accomplishments through fellowship in the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gold can often be found snowboarding on Mt. Hood or pursuing other outdoor activities.
