Education and Background
Ross G. Kaplan received his Certificate in Orthodontics and M.S.D. (1973) from the University of Washington; D. Ortho. (1970) and F.D.S. (1969) from the Royal College of Surgeons in London, England; and Bachelor of Dental Science (1965) from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has served as a full time associate professor from 1974 to 1980 and a part-time associate professor ever since, while also maintaining his own private practice.Teaching and Professional Affiliations
Dr. Kaplan teaches and supervises the department's graduate orthodontic students. He is past president of the Oregon State Society of Orthodontists, member of the American Association of Orthodontists, member of the E.H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, and diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists.Selected Publications
