Objectives and Goals
The purpose of this seminar is to introduce the student to the principles of diagnosing and treating pain in the head and neck region that is of non-endodontic origin.
- Differentiate between pain of endodontic and non-endodontic origin.
- Differentiate between vascular, neurologic, muscular, stress, psychiatric, occlusal, and neoplastic pain phenomenon.
- Differentiate between a royal and a flaming pain in the neck.
