Denice C. L. Stewart, DDS, MHSA
Dr. Stewart serves as Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Professor of Community Dentistry at the Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry. Dr. Stewart received her DDS from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and her Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
Dr. Stewart has held and currently holds several leadership positions in national organizations: American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Annual Session Program Committee past-Chair, ADEA Leadership Institute Alumni Board Chair, ADEA Clinic Administration Section Councilor. In 2014 she received the Chairman of the Board Citation for service to dental education. Dr. Stewart’s research interests focus on health information technology, quality improvement, and patient safety. She is currently an investigator on a multicenter, NIDCR funded grant to develop a patient safety toolkit and data repository for dentistry.
