As of September 1st, the Oregon Statewide Database License has moved from EBSCOhost to Gale CENAGE. These are the databases that the State of Oregon subsidizes, making them available to all academic, public and tribal libraries across the state.* This purchase brings us some new and interesting database products.
Side note: EBSCOhost users, don’t panic! The Library has also decided to continue purchasing the products we’ve been getting through the state from EBSCOhost, so you don’t have to worry about any interruption – we’ve got you covered.
The Gale collection includes databases covering health, nursing, psychology, business, environmental studies, computing and education as well as a number of collections that might appeal to your “off-campus” persona, and some educational tools for the K – 12 set too. Please look for all these additions (complete listing below) on the OHSU Library Databases page.
