Evidence Based Nursing & Allied Health Databases on trial through the Library

The OHSU Library is pleased to announce two current database trial subscriptions to evidence based nursing resources, available through December 31st, 2009.
1. ProQuest's Nursing & Allied Health Source Database (through 12/31/09)
ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source provides users with reliable healthcare information covering nursing, allied health, alternative and complementary medicine, and much more. This versatile database is designed to meet the needs of researchers at healthcare facilities as well as nursing and allied health programs at academic institutions. ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source provides abstracting and indexing for more than 850 titles, with over 715 titles in full-text, plus more than 12,000 full text dissertations and all Joanna Briggs Institute resources.

2. Joanna Briggs Institute: An Evidence -Based Practice Resource (through 12/31/09)
The OHSU Library has obtained a trial to the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). JBI is an International not-for-profit research and development organization specializing in Evidence-Based resources for healthcare professionals in nursing, midwifery, medicine, and allied health. JBI offers resources designed to meet the needs of service providers, health professionals and consumers by connecting the best available international evidence to the point of care.
