Major responsibilities

  • Manages the Library’s approval and Demand Driven Acquisitions (DDA) plans
  • Works with vendors to acquire resources for the Library
  • Participates in collection development and analysis initiatives, creating reports and compiling statistics about the Library’s collections for internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversees and establishes procedures for cataloging library resources
  • Oversees and establishes procedures for electronic resource activation and management
  • Manages licensing for electronic resources
  • Supervises 2.0 FTE of classified staff
  • Participates in planning, policy formation, and decision-making relating to library services, collections, and technologies
