Major Responsibilities

As the Basic Science Liaison:

  • Cultivate and foster a sense of community and collaboration by acting as an interdisciplinary communicator.
  • Continuous identification and evaluation of library materials and tools useful to the basic science faculty, residents, fellows, students, and staff.
  • Keep informed on current issues in translational medicine and data science.
As the Research Data Management (RDM) librarian:
  • Raise awareness and promote information service and literacy.
  • Specialize in best practices for organizing and managing information throughout the data life cycle. 
  • Provide resource training, consultation, and expert support regarding data management for biomedical researchers at Oregon Health & Science University.
  • Develop and implement new programs, curriculum, and services.
