Biography

Amy Addison is an Access Services coordinator with over twenty-five years of experience working in libraries.

During the week you can find her answering OHSU Library phone calls, emails, chats, and helping people access a variety of research tools.

Amy believes providing exceptional experiences for patrons within the Library creates life-long library users and emphasizes the importance of customer service when training library student workers. She helps maintain collections and service areas, oversees Course Reserves, and enjoys creating in-house informational and library event signage.

She is passionate about libraries and the free services they offer. Outside of work she enjoys writing and the beauty of the nature of the Pacific Northwest, particularly in the fall.
