Global Collaboration in Ethiopia
About the Problem
In Ethiopia there is a silent epidemic of women suffering from conditions related to complications of child birth such as obstetric fistula, urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
What We Do
OHSU has collaborated annually with Gimbie Adventist Hospital (GAH), a rural hospital in Western Ethiopia, to provide over 200 uterovaginal prolapse surgeries.
