July 18, 2018: Barbara Glidewell, Senior Scholar with the Center for Ethics
in Health Care has been awarded the rank of Associate Professor Emeritus in the
Department of Medicine. This comes on the heels of being inducted into the Beaverton High School (BHS) Lifetime Hall
of Achievement earlier this year. We

July 17, 2018: Dr. Gary Chiodo has been appointed Interim Dean of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, effective August 1, 2018. Dr. Chiodo is currently as Assistant Director of the Center for Ethics in Health Care and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Community Dentistry. He is expected to serve as Interim Dean for at least two years before the university conducts a search for a new permanent Dean. You may view the announcement from the University here.
