The Meaning of the Center for Ethics Logo

Center for Ethics in Health Care Logo

The weave of the Ethics Center logo represents multiple health care disciplines (symbolized by three strands in one direction) and multiple ethical issues (symbolized by three strands in another direction). The interwoven design illustrates that without working together the weave will not hold. Only through collaboration will we move forward in addressing the ethical issues confronting health care.

Every aspect of the Center’s work is designed to create vitally-needed change in the way health care is taught and practiced.
