Meet Linda Strahm, Diversity Advisory Council Member

Linda was born and raised in northern Nevada in a Mexican-American family. She attended the University of Nevada Reno to obtain a B.A. in Economics. Then, she went to the University of Oregon for her M.S. in Industrial Relations. Linda has been a Human Resources professional for almost 20 years. She joined OHSU five years ago and provides employee and labor relations, recruitment, training, organizational development, facilitation and diversity enhancement services to the Research, Central Services and Academic Units at OHSU.

Linda enjoys working at OHSU because of the interaction with the multi-faceted client groups and many interesting employees with whom she works. The diversity at OHSU has contributed to broadening her perspectives about life in general, as she credits the environment with allowing her to learn every day and experience situations from various perspectives.
