Meet Joy McCammon, Diversity Advisory Council Member

Joy grew up in the Kansas City metropolitan area and earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Since that time Joy has worked in the Human Resources field for 15 years, the past year and a half at the OHSU Foundation, in various roles including recruitment, compensation, training, benefits and generalist roles for a diverse range of industries. As the Director of Human Services for the OHSU Foundation, Joy is responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of foundation-wide human resources programs. Joy is also part of the management team which provides her the opportunity to impact strategic decisions and shape the culture to support the mission of the OHSU Foundation.

Joy enjoys working with a team of people that are 100% committed to supporting the mission of OHSU. Joy believes in synergy and that the best decisions come from those situations involving healthy conflict, diverse viewpoints, and open dialogue. Without diversity, Joy believes, synergy fails to exist. Her experiences at the OHSU Foundation and working regularly with OHSU have made it a pleasure for Joy to be part of such a quality group of employees.
