Tier II Web Hosting

In addition to the Tier I (CommonSpot) web hosting services, ITG Web Strategies provides support for the Tier II web hosting environment.  Commonly known as the 'web cluster', the purpose of this tier is to handle custom departmental sites, micro-sites and internal sites. Sites can be built on any platform supported by OHSU.

Some characteristics of the Tier II Web environment are:

File system access

Developers with sites in this environment have full file system access to development and production.

Branding/Policy compliance

All sites that use the OHSU header in this environment must meet branding, content, code and security guidelines.
