Web Tools
The web at OHSU incorporates a number of 3rd-party software tools. Each tool provides a specific functionality that allows our end users to find the information they are looking for on a stable web platform.
For example:
This text that you are reading now was entered into and stored in a content management system called CommonSpot.
The search boxes to the left and in the header of this page feed information into a search tool called Endeca.
Gathering data about how many users visited each page, and what they did there, is provided by a web analytics tool called WebTrends.
