The web at OHSU incorporates a number of software tools. Each tool provides a specific functionality that allows our end users to find the information they are looking for on a stable web platform.
CommonSpot
CommonSpot is our content management system for Tier I sites. It allows authors to created, edit and otherwise manage the content on these sites.
Endeca
Endeca gathers the metadata from the pages on Tier I and other selected sites, so people can search for specific pages, research broader topics and find what they need to find.
WebTrends
WebTrends gathers data about how many users visited each page and what they did there. It also helps you segment groups of people out, so you can compare behaviors or strategize website implementation more carefully.
Profiles
The profiles we use for the people and places at OHSU is a custom program that helps organize this content across the site.
