A Single Source for OHSU Events

I’m happy to say that our new OHSU calendar has been working well in production for about a month now, and we are ready to start setting up calendars for schools & departments who would like their own instance of the calendar. Having an enterprise calendar is very new for OHSU, so naturally there have been a lot of questions about how it will work.

Here are a few key points
  • Anyone logged in to the network at OHSU may submit an event to any calendar. Events may be subject to approval by the calendar owner.
  • If you want a calendar instance that is specific to your department/school/etc. (instead of being part of the mission-level calendar) you will need to purchase an Editor license.

Start this process by submitting a request to Web Strategies

  • An Editor license costs $360/year
  • An Editor license allows you to set up event registration, although payment will still have to be handled separately
  • If you don’t want an Editor license, work with your mission-level calendar owner to work out a workflow for how your events will appear on the mission-level calendar. Web Strategies can help facilitate these conversations.
