When I use Firefox, I get an error when I try to paste text into the rich text editor. How do I fix this? 

f you work in CommonSpot with Firefox, you may have noticed you get an error when you try to paste text into the rich text editor with keyboard shortcuts. 


Firefox warning message 
There's a manual fix for this, but it requires editing a javascript file that comes with FF.  Not ideal.
 
This Firefox add-on will edit the javascript file for you  - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/852.  It just requires one quick additional step to configure. 
 
2. Close and re-open Firefox
3. Go to Tools > Allow Clipboard Helper
4. Add the server name: http://authoring.ohsu.edu
5. Close and re-open Firefox
