Is my CommonSpot site searched by the OHSU search engine? 

Yes, CommonSpot subsites are included in the OHSU site-wide search. However, the content searched depends on the template the site is built with.

For sites with "edu/ohsuedu" or "edu/ozone" in the URL, the following fields are searched: - File name - Page title - Page description - Page and subsite keywords 

For sites with "edu/xd" in the URL, content from the entire body of the page is searched.
